Paris/Bremen, April 24, 2025 - OHB Digital Connect GmbH, a subsidiary of the European space and technology group OHB SE, has been selected as a founding member of the newly launched EU Space Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (ISAC) by the European Commission (EC) and the EU Space Program Agency (EUSPA).

The EU Space ISAC is a collaborative initiative for EU space sector companies to foster exchanges, raise awareness and share best practices to strengthen their security. This cooperation, within the private ecosystem but also with public entities, aims at improving the overall resilience of the EU space sector and thus better prevent, tackle and mitigate security-related challenged, including cybersecurity.

As an expert in satellite ground systems and satellite operations, OHB Digital Connect will contribute its expertise in cybersecurity management and practical cybersecurity for space applications to the new body.

The inaugural meeting of the EU Space ISAC took place in Paris on 24 April, co-chaired by the EC and EUSPA. Twelve founding members were also present, representing both large industrial groups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from across the European Union. During their two-year term, the founding members, which include OHB Digital Connect, Airbus Defence & Space, Cyberinflight, GMV, Infodas, Leonardo, Osmium, Priamos, Promethee, Satlantis, Thales Alenia Space and Tecnobit, will set up the EU Space ISAC, integrate new members and public partners and organise the first activities.
