Our sister companies build the satellites, we take care of everything else. We can offer you satellite operations and mission control for Earth observation satellites from a single source - and we also supply the necessary infrastructure. We are able to set up satellite ground stations worldwide and can also provide data archives, cloud connectivity and cybersecurity solutions.

With our many years of experience, we support you in the acquisition, processing and evaluation of Earth observation data to provide you with a basis for short, medium and long-term action plans in response to your specific problem. We regularly use automated evaluation methods and AI and combine satellite data with acquisitions from other sensors.
Our portfolio allows us to provide remote sensing and reconnaissance solutions for the military and the government in compliance with the relevant security guidelines. We use drones and airborne sensors to validate and augment satellite data and provide additional reliability for important decisions.
In the civil environment, we focus on monitoring the environment and climate. For example, we use our own infrared sensors to evaluate heat profiles in cities and use hyperspectral data to record the health of vegetation or detect leaks in gas pipelines. Using optical and radar data (SAR), we can detect geometric changes to critical infrastructure and buildings as well as the sealing of surfaces. We can also determine the potential of solar energy locally using remote sensing data and AI.

Satellite ground systems and mission control for Earth observation missions including data provision
We can offer you satellite and mission control from our Multi-Mission Control Center in Bremen. Our Mission Operation System (MOS) provides you with permanent information about the availability of and contacts with the Earth observation satellites.
Platform selection and provision
Our experienced team supports you in selecting the appropriate platform to answer your specific question (aircraft, UAVs, UASs or satellites) and in acquiring suitable data sets. In particular, our sister companies OHB System, OHB Sweden and OHB Italia have extensive experience with Earth observation satellites of various sizes across the entire sensor spectrum.
Sensor selection and adjustment
To obtain meaningful data products, choosing the right sensor is crucial. We offer innovative solutions, including the adaptation of sensors for specific applications in the UAV/airborne sector. For example, our thermal sensor "RAVEN" enables the acquisition of temperature data on the Earth's surface. Further developments in the field of super- and hyperspectral sensor technology can open up new potential for your application.
Processing and archiving of Earth observation data
Our services include the processing of raw data, atmospheric corrections and the generation of complex data products using classic and AI-based methods through to data fusion. In addition, we develop solutions for the provision, archiving and protection of archives through appropriate security measures.

We offer validation and verification of your data to ensure its quality and prove it to your customers.
