Lauch Site Infrastructure
As the successor to MAN Technologie and MT Mechatronics, we specialize in the construction of launch site infrastructure. Based on our decades of experience in the implementation of projects at the European launch site in Kourou, we supply ground systems of all kinds – from engine test stands to launch tables.
Large-scale mechanical engineering is our root and strength. We use this ability to build launch site infrastructure to our customers' exact specifications. We have worked on all launch facilities for the European Ariane rocket and build infrastructure elements that will serve reliably for decades.
The commercialization of space flight is a catalyst for breaking new ground. As a system supplier, we know what our customers need. We use our experience to modernize existing ground facilities and develop the launch sites of the future. This includes the planning and realization of flexible launch systems for small launchers (microlaunchers).
Current Projects

Launch Facilities for Ariane 6
For the Ariane 6 launchkomplex ELA-4 at the European launch site in Kourou, we have the French space agency CNES on behalf of MT Aerospace AG supplied key componentsincluding the launch table, the mobile pallet pallet systems for transporting the solid fuel boosters, the 66-metre-high supply tower and the deflector for deflecting the rocket's exhaust jet.
Offshore Spaceport
Under the name Offshore Spaceport, our sister company OHB System AG is working together with several partners to realize a mobile launch site for small launchers in the German North Sea. We are developing a large part of the ground facilities required for the project on land and at sea, including the preparation hall for the rockets and the launch box, which contains the infrastructure required for launching from a ship.

Eu-BEST
As part of the Eu-BEST (European Bench for Engine and Stage Testing) project funded by the EU via the Horizon Europe program, we are responsible for the market analysis and the resulting business model as well as for the development and provision of the mechanical structure of the test bench to be developed. The aim of the project is to realize a launcher-independent infrastructure for testing engines and entire rocket stages.
Digitalization of the Space Center in French Guiana
In order to prepare the European launch site in Kourou for the future, are planned for the extensive digitization measures are planned for the next few years. planned. As part of a consortium of several European companies, we are contributing our expertise to concrete measures for various areas (including the digitalization of telecommunications and electricity supply as well as the development of a digitaln twin) and implement them.
