As the successor to the companies MT Mechatronics and MAN Technologie, the development and installation of large telescopes is one of our core areas of expertise. Our team at the Mainz site has more than 60 years of experience in the realization of demanding projects for astronomical research.
Our first project was the Parkes radio telescope, which was built in Australia between 1959 and 1961. With an antenna diameter of 64 meters, it used to be the largest mobile telescope of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Since then, we have successfully completed numerous other projects and our expertise has continued to grow.
